This piece depicts the idea of individuality within wholeness: each ribbon has a different shape and personality, yet each of them plays its own role in conveying the shape of the fish-like silhouette. With its bright, luminous colours, the painting is bringing a warm atmosphere into the living space. The ribbons were first sculpted with thick layers of modelling paste, then covered with acrylic paints, giving them a vivid, palpable quality.
